The Lithuanian oil refiner ORLEN Lietuva moved from position 18 up to position 14 on the list of the largest Central and Eastern European Companies CEE Top 500, according to the international credit insurance company Coface. Such ranking is based on the 2010 data related to the 40.2 per cent increase in the Company’s turnover, the business daly Verslo Žinios wrote.
ORLEN Lietuva’s ranking is the highest among 16 Lithuanian companies on the CEE Top 500 List. According to Coface, the Central and Eastern European top four has not changed their positions, if compared to 2009. The Polish oil company PKN ORLEN remains the largest company in the region with the 2010 turnover of EUR 21 billion.
In September 2011, the international audit and business consultant Delloite announced the list of the largest Central European Companies CE TOP 500, where ORLEN Lietuva moved by nine positions up to ranking 15.
